Hikaru no Go/Death Note. Touya and Shindou run into (literally) a young man named Yagami. Shindou is very disturbed. The author says she may turn this into a multipart fic, but that's by no means certain, and it stands quite well as it is. (Added 3 Oct. 2006)

Hikaru no Go/Death Note. Raito and Ryuuku overhear a conversation in a restaurant. (Added 28 April 2005)

Having a Lousy Time, Wish You Were Dead by aishuu
Death Note/Dead Like Me. In this brief AU, Light's death note comes with quite a different sort of shinigami. George does not find Light amusing. (Added 2 Dec. 2006)

Methods of Interrogation by subdivided
I know nothing at all about this fandom (yet). What's the line between interrogation and torture and has L crossed it? (Added 27 Jan. 2005)

Something Wicked This Way Comes by Aishuu
WIP. In this AU Yagami Raito works with L in an effort to find Kira, the one who murdered his father. It still remains possible that Raito is Kira because Aishuu doesn't give the reader any certainty on the subject, but events unfold quite differently. I have my own theories about this, and I'll be curious to see if later chapters bear them out. (Added 2 March 2006)
